SUBACROMIAL JOINT INJECTION: the injection of the shoulder subacromial joint is used to treat pain most commonly related to inflammation and/or arthritis of the joint. The skin will be cleansed with antimicrobial solution and a needle will be inserted into the joint. Injection of solution containing corticosteroid and anesthetic will then be performed.
